The Need

The urgent need for programs like SquashBond is rooted in the reality that despite Israel’s many successes, one of the country’s most pressing challenges is that it is structurally a highly mixed society which rarely interact in social settings.  In addition, Israel is a highly ethnically diverse country, including hundreds of thousands of first and second generation immigrants from diverse countries.

Programs like SquashBond provide a safe space for children of all religious, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds to play, and to learn from and with each other.
